Background:

So the project has finally started. All the equipment has been acquired and the glass for the tank has been ordered. I still haven't reached the point of actually putting the system together, but I should receive the glass any day. During the first stage the tanks will be used for a different purpose than the original plan suggests. The 180 liter refugium will work as the main tank and the refill-tank will not appear at this setup at all. The sump will be the same in both systems. There will be no refigium at this stage. The equipment will differ little as well. Replacement water will be added manually and calsiumreactor will not be used. Therefore aquaristic computer doesn't really have a function and it will remain in a fresh water tank in its current purpose.

As soon as the glass arrives I will update this page in the pase of project progress. I try to provide you readers with plenty of pictures of various stages. All the way from building the actual aquaria to the maturing of the the tank.
